a) Ways of Installation

There are three types of installation of the pool covers, adaptable to the shape and size of the pool.

The choice of the type of installation is totally up to you, according to your own taste and demands. The pool cover is designed to fit the specifications of your pool.

TOP Track - TOP Mechanism

You can choose this installation if you do not wish to have much work done around your pool. The track is positioned on the patio or the coping stone along the pool and the mechanism sits on the deck level. It is the easiest solution for existing pools but can also be used for pools which are newly built. The TOP (or FLAT) track can be used for this installation and the mechanism can be covered with a bench for sitting on.

TOP Track - UNDER Mechanism

If you are willing to have some work done around your pool, you can choose this type of installation. The principle is the same as described above except the mechanism is positioned in the pit below the deck level. The pit for the mechanism must be built. You can choose either wooden or polymer lid to cover the pit and decide whether to use the TOP (or FLAT) track.

UNDER Track - UNDER Mechanism

This type of installation is used only for rectangular newly built pools or pools which are being renovated. This is because the POCKET profile with the UNDER track must be installed under the coping stones. The mechanism is always installed below the deck level in this case, so the pit for the mechanism must be built. Except the lids mentioned in previous installation type, the aluminum tray for tiling can be delivered.

Wooden Lid

Wooden lid is made from good quality wood. It can nicely fit to surroundings of most of the gardens or backyards. In case of installation with Flat or Top track, the lid must have always opening for cover to get into the pit. Standard delivered lid is only impregnated therefore it is advised to have stained the delivered lid otherwise the wood gets the old (decayed) look quickly.

Polymer Lid

The polymer lid is made of polymer panels and anodized aluminium frame. Be aware that when you will have the polymer lid installed, you will find out that there are small (1 mm) gaps between the polymer panels, which the lid is created from. The reason for these gaps is that during the hot weather, the plastic is expanding its size and therefore the panels will become bigger and these gaps are there to accommodate for the plastic expansion. Polymer lid is maintenance free.

Tiling Tray

The tiling tray is made of metal plates. The standard size of the plate sections is 60cm but if requested, we can produce the sections any required size to have the stones fitting nicely to the each section. The metal sheets are supported by metal brackets and are covering the whole pit area. The tiles or stones can be then placed on these trays. After the installation is finished, the complete design is very neat as it looks like there is no cover at all because the cover mechanism with roll-up tube is hidden under the tiles and the surrounding of the pool is everywhere the same.

Bench for Top-Top installation

If the above ground installation is chosen, you may have your own solution on how to cover the mechanism and the roll up tube which are fixed to the floor next to the pool. We have the solution too. We produce Polymer or Wooden benches which hide the mechanism and all other mechanical parts perfectly. Beside of all other advantages, it is pleasant to sit on.

If the customer does not wish to cover the mechanism with any bench, then the Box mechanism should be ordered. In Automatic version, the box mechanism can be delivered only if Hydraulic II. mechanism is ordered.

a) Ways of Installation

There are three types of installation of the pool covers, adaptable to the shape and size of the pool.

The choice of the type of installation is totally up to you, according to your own taste and demands. The pool cover is designed to fit the specifications of your pool.

TOP Track - TOP Mechanism

You can choose this installation if you do not wish to have much work done around your pool. The track is positioned on the patio or the coping stone along the pool and the mechanism sits on the deck level. It is the easiest solution for existing pools but can also be used for pools which are newly built. The TOP (or FLAT) track can be used for this installation and the mechanism can be covered with a bench for sitting on.

If you are willing to have some work done around your pool, you can choose this type of installation. The principle is the same as described above except the mechanism is positioned in the pit below the deck level. The pit for the mechanism must be built. You can choose either wooden or polymer lid to cover the pit and decide whether to use the TOP (or FLAT) track.

UNDER Track - UNDER Mechanism

This type of installation is used only for rectangular newly built pools or pools which are being renovated. This is because the POCKET profile with the UNDER track must be installed under the coping stones. The mechanism is always installed below the deck level in this case, so the pit for the mechanism must be built. Except the lids mentioned in previous installation type, the aluminum tray for tiling can be delivered.

Wooden Lid

Wooden lid is made from good quality wood. It can nicely fit to surroundings of most of the gardens or backyards. In case of installation with Flat or Top track, the lid must have always opening for cover to get into the pit. Standard delivered lid is only impregnated therefore it is advised to have stained the delivered lid otherwise the wood gets the old (decayed) look quickly.

Polymer Lid

The polymer lid is made of polymer panels and anodized aluminium frame. Be aware that when you will have the polymer lid installed, you will find out that there are small (1 mm) gaps between the polymer panels, which the lid is created from. The reason for these gaps is that during the hot weather, the plastic is expanding its size and therefore the panels will become bigger and these gaps are there to accommodate for the plastic expansion. Polymer lid is maintenance free.

Tiling Tray

The tiling tray is made of metal plates. The standard size of the plate sections is 60cm but if requested, we can produce the sections any required size to have the stones fitting nicely to the each section. The metal sheets are supported by metal brackets and are covering the whole pit area. The tiles or stones can be then placed on these trays. After the installation is finished, the complete design is very neat as it looks like there is no cover at all because the cover mechanism with roll-up tube is hidden under the tiles and the surrounding of the pool is everywhere the same.

Bench for Top-Top installation

If the above ground installation is chosen, you may have your own solution on how to cover the mechanism and the roll up tube which are fixed to the floor next to the pool. We have the solution too. We produce Polymer or Wooden benches which hide the mechanism and all other mechanical parts perfectly. Beside of all other advantages, it is pleasant to sit on.

If the customer does not wish to cover the mechanism with any bench, then the Box mechanism should be ordered. In Automatic version, the box mechanism can be delivered only if Hydraulic II. mechanism is ordered.
